Product description

Alongside their exceptional English sparkling wines, Rathfinny also produce still wines under the Cradle Valley label. As with all their wines, fruit is sourced exclusively from the Rathfinny estate vineyard. The site occupies the main part of the Cradle Valley, on a south-facing slope close to the Cuckmere Valley, an idyllic chalk grassland known for its abundance of birdlife and wildflowers.

The vineyard’s free-draining chalk soils, combined with its southerly aspect, and semi-continental maritime climate, provides the ideal conditions for ripening grapes. The label reflects the character of the Rathfinny estate and is a nod to its rich biodiversity, achieved by their work with Natural England and the South Downs National Park to enhance wildlife habitats and reclaim areas of natural chalk grassland. Their Pinot Gris is fermented in stainless steel tanks with a small component in old French oak barrels. It is crisp and refreshing with notes of pear, white peach and apricot.

Standard delivery is £9.99 and may take up to 10 working days, although under normal circumstances your order should be delivered within 3-5 working days.

Free delivery on all orders with a value over £200 to a single delivery address for UK mainland destinations.

Returns

How long do I have to return an item to you? We will accept returns up to and including 7 days from the day of delivery.

How do I return an item? Simply return the item to the following address within the specified time, using any postal service. Remember to use a service that requires a signature and includes insurance as responsibility remains with you until we have signed for it.

Remember to enclose the printed returns note with your item or it may delay processing.

We try hard to accept all returns but returns must be in original packaging and in original condition. In the unlikely event that an item is returned in an unacceptable condition the item may be returned to you.
